In our PE lessons this half term, we have been learning and playing an adapted version of Volleyball called Seated Volleyball. The children in Year 6 have been trying the different passing techniques and have been particularly working on their ‘set’. During this lesson, we worked really hard to make as many passes as we could and we had a competition for the teams with the greatest rally. We opted for beach balls instead of volleyballs as they stay in the air longer and give us more time to prepare our passes. Many of us found it difficult to stay sitting though!

“It was really hard to stay sitting! I kept wanting to get up to get the ball!” – Tobe

“It was easier for us to get the shot ready when the person who passed it to us had passed it high in the air as we had more time to see it.” – Rachel

“We tried to be careful of our class Christmas tree!” – Amelia
