We had the animal man visit school on Wednesday 3^rd July. We were all very excited to meet the animals and sat eagerly and patiently ready to see what the man had brought with him. We first met an owl, we all got the chance to have a stroke if we chose to, it was so soft. After we met the toad with its hard body but squishy stomach. Then we met the hissing cockroaches, we got to touch or hold these whichever we felt comfortable doing. We then got to see the snake and enjoyed holding this one around our necks. The gecko was a popular one with so many of us wanting to hold it. We met Sheila the blue tongued skink, with her very smooth body. Then finally we met the skunk and she just wanted to sleep while we all enjoyed a little stroke. We had such a fun time meeting all of the animals.
